1978: Carl Washington founded C.W. Boxing club in the basement of his home in 1978.
1980: The club moved from the basement gym to the Fontenelle Pavillion.
1987: The organization created an alternative youth music program. The program included voice music, dance, rap and bands.
1988: Created the C.W. Hotline 444-4431 to help combat gangs and the gang violence that was sweeping the nation among youth.
1990: Created a tutoring program to help youth having difficulties in school.
1992: Umbrella Programing with the Bears football team.
1994: The organization moved to its present location at 1510 Cass St.
